Morisons deal runs out this summer. Murray confirmed that when he said he had spoken to him a couple of times about staying. Lets hope his name is in the bold font soon

It will be interesting to see what happens with Alex Penny. He has been a asset in our defence for a number of seasons and who can ever forget his goal against West Ham. But something happened between him and PB in mid-season that made Brown very disparaging about him and his injuries. If Penny really is contracted until next July perhaps the new manager can get him functioning again. If not, sadly, we can't keep carrying him on the payroll, can we?

Crazy decision giving him a two year deal given his injury record. Apparently off to the USA so hopefully that happens. We cant afford a constantly injured player on the wage bill.COYRedder wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 12:47 pm It will be interesting to see what happens with Alex Penny. If true then good luck to him tbh. He moved on sharpish last time he was here so I don't think we should be under any illusions as to what his prime objective is. It's a relatively short career being a footballer so his bank balance at the end of it would probably be his prime concern. Having said that I'd be delighted if he was here next season.
Que the video of him signing for Brackley and saying how much he's always wanted to play for the gaffer Cowan.

Personally I’d be moving heaven and earth to keep Morrison here. Twice he’s come to the club and twice he’s been a revelation. He’d head a brick away if he had to (and probably come out of it the better of the two). I’d give him wages, the armband, and I’ll buy him a Lazio’s every time we win too. If he still wants to go elsewhere after that, then that’s on him.

Hope the Brackley rumour isn’t true. But I guess the travel from Birmingham to Brackley isn't too different to Kiddy.
Morrisons got to be number 1 priority. Two year deal and make him club captain. If we can keep him and McNally we would have really solid foundations for the next season.
Can’t let him go twice!! But I guess if he gets offered bumper money then fair enough, we would all go.
I’m feeling positive with Murray at the helm that he can persuade him to stay.

Believe he was. Looking at Transfermarkt and doing some keeping-track-in-my-head, it looks like Morrison played 88 minutes across two games for Murray, was an unused substitute four times and not in the squad a further four times. Not loads of data so don't want to read in to it to much, and have no other context around his loan. Fylde is the misnomer in an array of Kidderminster, Solihull and Leamington so maybe you could infer a preference to be Midlands-based, which led to his move from Fylde?maxspeed wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 8:47 am Was AM manager at Fylde when KM was allowed here on loan the first time under Penn??
Hope it's similar to the rumour of Ashley leaving for Macclesfield.Sheffield Harrier wrote: Thu May 22, 2025 3:57 pm Anyone heard the rumour Morrison is talking to Brackley?

Arent Brackley part time? If so would that temp Morison given he has been full time for some time?
Hopefully its the same source as Hemmo to Macc, or Kyle Hadley being watched by league clubs.
