Is this ref for real?
Spenny keeper collides with his own defender and gives a free kick against us. Nearest Harrier was ten foot away????

Good performances from Obi, Foulkes, Mooney, Evans and Reynolds in particular. And Hall better than he was last time at home.
Wind didn’t help the game.
Not always pretty but got the job done. Something to continue to build on.

Desperate, desperate kick and hope football, is this what Kidderminster Harriers have now become ? Notwithstanding the result - (a welcome three points), what is being served up in front of the loyal fans is nothing short of Sunday League, I for one am finding it a very painful experience attending games ATM. Today was absolutely dreadful to watch, Murray should apologise for such a performance - but of course he won't. Not sure where the quality of last season has gone. Then again there will be the acolytes that say it's another win and a clean sheet - Errrrrmmmmmm.

I heard it driving back Harry, doesn’t “get down”
When he gets abused when we loose. Abused lol. Well the Radcliffe game was completely unnacceptable, what was he expecting? As it’s ok mate no dramas. Same with Pboro Sports
Onto the game, concerned going in with two elements. Team; the front two esp with pace and also missing JT and DD. Being at home; how wil we play given all this BS about how hard it is to play at the Ali Semi Yen, sorry, Aggborough stadium.
The performance itself was solid. Organised. Competitive. Physical. Typical NN stuff
Offered hardly anything going forward as it was hoofed then when we did get into positions likes of Mooney playing good balls in behind for two slow lads who were never gonna get there
Reynolds stood out as did Foulkes obi and Kalambaye (who looks a proper player we need to keep him for the season) you can tell a player when you see them and he’s one of them. Proper proper player.
This team today wil struggle to make playoffs with the front two as neither are good enough and we need a different option in the two ie Kurt and the way we play.
Murray was on about players expressing themselves. Only Mooney and RR showed any sort of footballing ability and to a certain extend JF
But we are in the middle of a reset which has yielded 7 points from 9 and two clean sheets. Also only 3 goals which should be more from Tuesday
The tanker is turning but skme work is needed to get us sailing in the direction. Though today is a decent with especially against a team above us in the table and us without two influential leaders.

if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success
Does hit it a bit hard, doesn't he. Makes me cringe a little in all honesty. And have to say, always suspicious of people that become incredibly religious midway through their lives. Usually compensating for something.harry211 wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 5:00 pm Murray's interview will wind a few up given the stuff earlier in this thread (it's the level of discussion I find a bit much, but each to their own).

I wouldn’t call it kick and hope. The two centre forwards caused their defence issues and we had Ryley and Mooney picking up pieces and trying to make things happen. There were some pretty good moves we put together.maxspeed wrote: Sat Oct 25, 2025 4:55 pm Desperate, desperate kick and hope football, is this what Kidderminster Harriers have now become ? Yes, it was pretty direct at times. And not always pretty. I think we all want to play free flowing attacking football on the ground but we aren’t in that wheelhouse at the moment.
There were a number of positive individual performances and we dug in, worked hard for each other and won. That’s seven points from nine following on from a poor run. Is it ok to be a little bit optimistic? Yes, recruitment in the summer was suspect, as was team selection for ten or so games. But we’ve made some changes and are picking up points. Forgive those of us who want to be happy about this.
I fear a number of supporters have decided that they are against Murray and that’s that. I also find his interviews difficult. But Expecting us to be brilliant each game and constantly sniping is a little tiresome. Some stuff on X is ott imo. Yeah, you pay your money and have a right to an opinion but it feels as if there’s a group that want him to fail. Not healthy.

Agree with stuff on we aren’t gonna playing free flowing football as I said we’re in the middle of a reset
Murray I was really pleased with the apt but his interviews are awful and has alienated a fair bit of the fan base and a lot of the issues surround him. And there seems to be a lack
Of responsibility for that and a chip On his shoulder. Don’t like him - but he’s here to win games, so the last 5 days or so have been very good

What a total abysmal game of football, yes 3 points is great, however, 85mins of both teams diving, and hoof, after hoof, after hoof, long throw, after long throw, after long throw, topped off with Dibble play acting. What does Kiddy style of play even mean anymore, it seems gone are the days of actually playing on the ground, this is going to be a very long season under the AM helm, I only hope it is limited to one season!

It wasn’t an attractive game to watch at all today. It needed a bit of quality to win it and Riley Reynolds provided it with a great finish. He and Mooney stood out as our only creative players.
On a positive note, we made free scoring Spennymoor look decidedly average today.
I thought Sho-Silva was poor today, he looked like he could barely run by the end - I can’t understand why Willoughby didn’t come on for him. Why has Murray recently made him captain? I don’t see it personally.
The refereeing was poor again with some bizarre decisions.
I can’t remember a game this season where we have had a strong final third. As so often, we started brightly today but by the end we seemed to have run out of steam and of ideas - Déjà vu all over again.
That’s seven points in three tricky games after the debacle with Radcliffe. We can’t complain too much I suppose but it certainly wasn’t pretty today.
The attendance was down a bit today - it’s sloppy fare at the moment but I’m sure things will improve if we keep winning!

It’s weird that the players the manager has had to get in as emergency replacements seem better than the carefully considered signings (obviously a few exceptions).
Not much fun to watch but as others have said 2 wins and a draw .
Can’t complain.
Hope Reynolds is okay with his own religion to have it shared in the media.
I’m sure the manager would have asked him ….
