Sounds like we used our get out of jail card right at the end.
Anyway, our 10 game winning streak has to start somewhere!

Hard to put that game into words. If we’d thrown the three points away I would have been *SO* pissed off.
We seem to be our own worst enemies at the moment. If we can put that issue to bed then maybe we’ll do ok.

It feels like the opposition doesn't have to work too hard for their goals (see also Saturday). At 2-0, we looked as though we should have coasted to a comfortable win. Instead, we just got ourselves into trouble and gave Leamington just a sniff of being able to get something out of the game and, boy, they nearly did.
I'm no closer to knowing what our strongest eleven should be. I do know that Ryley Reynolds should be in there.

If there's a weaker team than that in NLN I'd be amazed. The fact that we brought them back into it twice over was totally disheartening and even with the last minute winner it still feels like a defeat. I don't think we have played the best of this league yet and yet we have struggled every game. It's weird because we clearly have some decent players but there's something very wrong with this team. No idea what it is.
Kings Lynn away may tell us where we really stand.

Got out of jail
Win keeps the wolves at bay but doesn’t paper over the obvious cracks
Thought Tunni Foulkes and Clark had decent games.
Defending woeful. Two goals in two days Obi has cost us. Spokes half arsed for the break for their equaliser pathetic.
Way off what we were last season skme ain’t up to it. We’ve replaced Maz and hemmo with Seb and adigun. Adigun may come good but he’s raw. Kurt anonymous. Ams at least gave their defenders somethjng to think about without doing a lot
One plus was the link up of Devine and innocent. Vibes of last season.
Murray mentions a sports psychologist coming in in his post match. Not sure what difference that makes as some just ain’t good enough

if you couple goals with clean sheets you've a recipe for success

Sounds like we're becoming the Manchester United of the NLN...a hotch-potch of a side with no clear identity, and no obvious signs of where the goals are going to come from.
A win & three points, but its not a game that will live long in the memory. Thought Leamington were bang average, but still managed to score three very good goals, even if one was for us. Harriers at times looked in complete control of the game and then after they conceded, they looked a shambles. I thought Tunnicliffe had his best game so far - and even scored a goal, not sure how he didn't get MotM he was immense. Devine had a very good first half and was a real threat , faded after an hour. Foulkes was also very good all game. I do think the system being played is wrong for the players up top, Willoughby just can't get into the game - he's too isolated playing solo - he needs to play in a two to be effective. Adigan is a regular pick it would seem, but I can't see what he brings to the side, technically he looks good, but there's no end product, another Cadogan. Seb works hard but he too didn't produce much and he looked short of a yard of pace against his marker. But defensively Harriers look shaky when under pressure, maybe because Murray has switched to a back four Obi being sloppy with the ball at his feet which led to Tunnicliffe giving away the free kick from which they scored. But having said all of that it's the midfield that looks weak, nobody carriers the ball forward and it's all sideways and backwards expecting the creativity to come from the back line. To listen to AM, he's as frustrated as the fans, but I'm not sure he has the quality players to change things around. Hope I'm wrong but this side doesn't look good enough for a title push without further additions.

Comfortably the weakest opposition faced so far and we gifted them two goals and almost a point.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record:
1. Playing Willoughby effectively as a lone striker is futile. He clearly needs someone to play off.
2. Murray still has no idea what his best starting XI is and this constant chopping and changing simply leads to a lack of cohesion and balance.
3. Whoever comprises the back three it’s not a patch on last season. Obi does some good work but has a costly mistake in him every game.
4. For me, only two players are given starters: Dibble and Foulkes. I’d add Kandola and Reynolds to that short list.
Apart from Fylde we haven’t played a team that will be in the play offs come the end of the season. We desperately need cohesion, a settled starting XI, and a means of scoring goals. From what I’ve seen so far we look bang average mid table.

As others have said, Leamington were surprisingly poor - the worst team I’ve seen at Aggborough for ages. No ambition or threat, they didn’t even seem up for it. I can’t believe they’ve already picked up 5 points.
It was almost too easy (and dare I say even boring) until we decided, late in the day to conspire to throw the game away.
We should have been 2 or 3 up at half time - got to do better when we’re on top!
My motm today was Tunni, really solid performance. Adigun is steadily improving and had the North Stand singing his name by the end.
Willoughby was AWOL again other than his contribution to the OG - I’m not blaming him completely - he needs balls to run onto - it ain’t happening at the moment.
Thank God we pulled that out of the bag in the end. I can’t recall the last time we got such a late winner.

Like someone said we haven’t played anyone yet
Wait till the likes of South Shields and KL come in and Chorley. We’ll get battered. Way off.

I can't think of any other instances where football managers have openly discussed their faith in relation to the process of managing a football team and winning games? There's a lot of "Jesus chat" in the air isn't there? It's fine for people to believe whatever they like, but I don't think it should be constantly/openly mentioned/advertised in relation to the game and club, as it's alienating to people who don't hold any stock in that kind of stuff. And honestly, the idea of praying so that things improve just sounds a bit mental. If there is a God, and that's a very big if, then surely he has more important issues at hand than our NLN exploits this season?
