That’s the one thing I’m really pleased about today, taking the result out of it, and that’s the respect and positivity about Khalsa as a club and their setup. I’m just pleased it went well and people were able to see the Khalsa I see when I pop down there occasionally. Job done, let’s see who we get Monday

Good finishes, good result and banana skin avoided. A lot to be positive about.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Have to agree with many posters on here in-so-much-as it was a great day out and Khalsa supporters have a club and ground to be proud of. The hospitality shown to Kiddy fans was a joy to behold. Although I didn't much like the way the ball rolled (or died) after bouncing on their artificial pitch, the facilities and ground management were exceptional. A great community spirit on show, lessons to be learned here methinks.
As for the game itself, Harriers could, and should, have wrapped it up well before half time but for woeful finishing. All turned out fine in the end with 3 well taken second half goals and not a single bad tackle in the entire game. Let's hope for a home tie in tomorrow's draw. Fingers crossed.

Well done to all for getting through.

Concerned over our poor finishing, we won`t get so many chances, to waste, against teams at our level.

Partly agree. Certainly AMS and Hemmings were wasteful. The keeper made two great saves from Sam Austin before his first finish. Bell finished his two very well.

I don't know if you were there, but the pitch was really very different to grass and our players struggled with it a bit (although I'm sure they've all played on such a surface a good number of times).

Banana skin avoided. Their keeper made some lovely saves.

Great to see so many Harriers fans there. Great to hear some of them singing and supporting the side. But I really don't get why we need the "your support is f-ing s---" and "my garden shed...." etc etc. Especially against a club like Khalsa. Support our team. Why do we constantly have to bait the opposition fans?*

* I am old now and I acknowledge that I am a hypocrite as I undoubtedly used to join in with such chants and probably even now shout some absolute nonsense. The stuff on Saturday made me cringe though.

Are the majority of that group who start songs all mainly 16-18? May explain it? Same disqualifier with me...I've been there before.

Have to agree that this element, although they think they are supporting the team, are an embarrassment to the good name of the club. Sporting showed us fans great hospitality and respect and this is the way some repay them. Glad the DJ in the 442 Club drowned them out.

Same point made among those I was stood with. I likened it to singing it in preseason down Swift’s, which I doubt they’d do. Irked me even more knowing I have a small soft spot for Khalsa before the game anyway.

It seems to be par for the course. They hear it at every match on Sky so just parrot the same stuff. I hope that most 'host fans' would see that it's a bunch of 15 year olds and just indulge them a bit. On the whole I'm glad they're there and are singing.

I was at Birmingham City the other day escorting a neighbour to the game. The Fulham fans were singing 'we pay your benefits'. I'm really not keen on that crap. Straight from the Murdoch tabloids that sort of nonsense.

The disclaimers answers the question really.

Sometimes the baiting can be quite funny - I thought the Fulham one was for instance. Exchanges between Sheffield United (Henderson's) and Worcester about who had the relish sauce for instance - very amusing.

I think the key is that it needs to be a bit more original that the stuff you've said our fans were singing though.

Nice that the fans were actually singing at the match and enjoying a bit of banter. Loyal fans who pay money and take time to travel who have endured embarrassing cup exits in recent years. Would the lovely Millwall fans feel sorry for a little club like us if we played them?
