The prediction leage people seem confident of a Harriers win - 20 have gone for that, 3 for a draw and no-one for a Gateshead win!

I listened to the game last night. Deserved the lead first half, controlled the game. Sloppy one from a corner got The Brakes chins up and they scrambled in a second. Could suit us

Looking forward to it. Should be a really good game of football on paper.
Recommend the Southport highlights from over the weekend for anybody who hasn't seen them. Thrilled game with an outrageous late equaliser from Macaulay Langstaff, who's on absolute fire this year.
Must admit I expected a dip from them, losing some big players in Montgomery, their main man Jordan Preston & Jordan Cook, and not bringing in a lot of eye-catching names. But they seem to have got plenty of fire power.

Frustrating game. Great time wasting from Gateshead. They came with a plan to grab a lead and defend it. Gifted them the second not sure what happened with the third but we seemed very open.
I think that could be one of the last times we see Keith Lowe start for us again sadly. His legs look like they've gone and he's being constantly out paced at the back. If Cameron is injured for Sporting Khalsa I think Penny has to start instead.

Gateshead came to shithouse, and didn’t they do well. Referee seemingly intent on being staccato, which only aided them. One of the poorest displays of referees at this level I can remember, and I’m someone who will actively try and defend or excuse referees.
They twigged the way to do us would be to expose Keith and run diagonals on him, and when you’ve got a lad in form like Macca Langstaff, they’ll go in. Disappointing second goal, and young Foulkes had a poor game (uncharacteristically) by his standards, but improved after his goal. Good to see a bit of character from him there.
There were plenty of poor moments on both ends, but I honestly think we were unlucky today with the amount of blocks Gateshead made at the last, especially in the first half, whilst I’d be very interested to see the “handball” again on the film.

Really good game, I thought.
Gateshead came out the traps quick, Harriers were caught cold and once they were 2-0 up were happy to sit back and waste time. Thought their pressing was ever so good. Both up the field & when they sat back in their low block. Sam Austin never got a look in or a minute's peace. Neither did Hemmings, really. They did ever so well to make the game fizzle out as there was some real hostility building for a period in the second half, which if continued you'd have fancied the ball to be sucked in for the equaliser.
Thought Carrington was really missed today, his composure in the middle of the park. And Keith just didn't look fit at all. Plus AMS looked very rusty, especially first half. Agree on the ref. Shocking. And at least one of the goals looked offside. Tough run of fixtures, let's hope the early results don't go to waste.
Also gotta give another word for Bajrami. Fella was like the Albanian Van Dijk out there at times. It was like he was playing in an under 12s game. Every time you see him it's just ridiculous he wasn't picked up at a higher level.
