Re: Nathan Cameron
Hopefully injury problems behind him now.
Promising signing.
Hopefully see a CF come in before York.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Very pleased with this signing, feels like exactly what we needed.
Top of my wish list before York is a playmaking midfielder in the Croasdale/Weeks mould.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Has impressed for me during pre season and glad we got this done. Certainly looked the best of our centre halves on show.

Re: Nathan Cameron
that would be nice to, however a midfield of (right to left) OSJ, Austin, Montrose and Hemmings I think would do some damage. Austin could cause carnage through the middle.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Likewise. There'll be another midfielder, likely on loan, and that'll be it, I reckon. Currently got Montrose, Carrington, Austin & Martin for those centre midfield roles in the 4-2-3-1. Unless the plan is to use Jaiden as cover for the #10 position, and so another winger instead.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Looks like I'm in a minority, but I'm not sure I agree. I would guess that both trialist H and Giraldo Bajrami turned us down.
I would have preferred a younger more mobile CB to accompany Lowe. Nevertheless, I wish him all the best - and I've only seen him in one game so very little to go on.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Not seen him play. Good pedigree. Going to be some time until I get to a game, so will leave judgement until others....until he gives away a penalty against York that I read about on Twitter and suddenly become an expert.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Just so that Edgar does not feel alone, I agree. Bajrami looked much better of the two. Subject to three caveats: (i) he has an impressive CV, is not too old and should be very good at this level; (ii) I have only seen him play one game; and (iii) I know nothing.

I have only seen the Walsall game & agree Bajrami would have been my choice.
As for pace with Lowe, hope Penny accompanies Cameron at cb positions, Lowe on the bench, otherwise where does Faulkes fit in?

If you look online at some past footage of Cameron he looks very strong and assured at a higher level. And he's only 29.

Impressed with both during pre-season. In terms of experience obviously Cameron is way ahead due to their ages however Bajrami has very few first team games under his belt even allowing for his age (21yrs). Based on above I think Cameron is the best choice and now wish him all the best at Aggborough.

(i) Good point. He has played at a much higher level. Hadn't seen that.BobGreenwoodsDad wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 6:42 pmJust so that Edgar does not feel alone, I agree. (ii) Same here.
(iii) Same here!
Hope it all comes together now. Looking forward to tomorrow. Then I won't see the first couple of league games sadly.

Re: Nathan Cameron
Begs the question as to whether we will play three across the back (Cameron, Penny, Lowe) with the full backs pushed up high?

Can't see us going 3 back. We've played 4 back all pre season to go and switch it now is a risk.
On the face of it this looks like a great signing. Let's hope he impresses
