Personally, I’d keep Martin in as he’s been effective playing alongside Carrington- comfortable on the ball and creative too. Playing both Sterling and Hemmings together is a luxury we can’t afford. Just my take on things.

Deserved winners. Managed the game well. Darlo obviously have a management team who want to play football. Suited us.

Slight concern that we couldn't create more chances.

I voted for Alex Penny. A worthy winner in a season of a fair few candidates. Pleased Caleb received recognition too.

Looking at the high numbers on the Darlo shirts looked like they have already started building for next season.
Played some nice football and 130 fans made the trip on a dead rubber of a match. Respect.

Potential play off contenders next season?

I hope so. Got a soft spot for Darlington. Big club and a fan of Alun Armstrong as a manager. I don't know how many they've already got committed, but I know they've got an option to extent contracts on a number of their players.

If they'd sorted their squad out a bit earlier, they'd have probably made the playoffs this season. Been on quite a run until recently. Took them too long to sort out their defence and also lost their main goalscorer Luke Charman in January, tbf.
