When we played Gloucester away (albeit on a Tuesday evening) there were only circa 1,000 home fans so not surprised that their away following was a bit below par.

They're all Forest Green fans down there.

It's ironic that they campaigned to return home to Gloucester and then no one turns up.

No one turns up in Nailsworth either....FGR average home gate , 10 points clear at the top of L2: 2,506 (........ plus Dale Vince.)

The impact of playing away from Gloucester for 13 years should not be underestimated when considering the fan base; the chap who takes the photos for Gloucester took a photo of the North Stand on Saturday and highlighted the young fans we've got, Gloucester have lost a generation of supporters. Unfortunately I think it'll take them a long time to recover that, they'd need a cup run like ours, but even with that I found the redeveloped ground to be a pretty soulless place, sadly! It's also hard to counter the lure of the Rugby over ere!

There does seem to be an increase in younger supporters this season, wonder if its part due to the much maligned on line ticketing?

We're having a good cup run. It becomes a laugh and cheaper than WBA/Wolves/Villa for them to follow. If our form takes a dive, they'll go. Same happened with Burr and nearly winning the league.
