Watching the highlights its suddenly struck me this season we've reverted to having the player's names on the back of the shirts again?

Wasn't it introduced for last season as well? Can't remember - but yes, new rules. Been a huge help for those (like me), who can't make every game so struggles recognising some of the players at distance.garthrockett wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 6:01 pmWatching the highlights its suddenly struck me this season we've reverted to having the player's names on the back of the shirts again?
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Indeedy, helps break up the otherwise overly bland plain red shirts too.Wasn't it introduced for last season as well? Can't remember - but yes, new rules. Been a huge help for those (like me), who can't make every game so struggles recognising some of the players at distance.

It would also likely be a commercial opportunity for the club to sell replica shirts with players names on (my kids always want a named and numbered shirt), but this does not seem to be an option currently. It would certainly make our current hyper bland shirt more appealing.
Keeper of the fabled Lee Hughes Red Boot, Croasdale #4, Prosser #16 & Bell #14 (very lightly used) shirts.
