Ian Nash KHIST Chairman 2018 - 2021
by Chris Wilson · 11/05/2021

It is with great sadness that we must bring you the news of the passing of Ian Nash.

As a devoted Kidderminster Harriers supporter, Ian dedicated much of his spare time to KHIST; helping the trust to develop and progress and, in doing so, aiding Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.

Ian looked forward to organising and being at the heart of KHIST Board meetings, fundraisers and social events. He referred to fellow members as friends and being like a family.

Ian will be sorely missed by everyone at KHIST, and by many fellow members’ families who knew him and his wife from the many fundraisers which he planned and enjoyed.

We offer our deepest sympathies and love to Ian’s much-loved wife and family, and we shall continue to oversee and carry out the vision and ambitions which Ian had for the trust.

If you would like to give your condolences to Ian’s family, please email: admin@khist.org.uk and we will pass on these messages on your behalf.

Ian's funeral is being held on Thursday 3rd June at Wyre Forest Crematorium at 10.30am. Unfortunately, although numbers at funerals have been relaxed somewhat, they are still limited to the size of the crematorium/church under current Covid restrictions. This means that the funeral will be by invitation only i.e. family members and close friends. However, the funeral cortege will be passing and stopping briefly outside Aggborough Stadium at around 10.05-10.15am for anyone wishing to pay their respects to the man who dedicated so much of his time and energy to KHIST and his unquestioned passion for 'the Harriers.'

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, Ian’s funeral on Thursday June 3rd will be by invitation only. Ian’s family are very grateful for the many floral tributes and messages of condolence they have received at this sad time. They know how much Kidderminster Harriers meant to Ian, and how many friends he had at his beloved football club, so have decided that he will be making his final journey via Aggborough. If any friends/supporters would like to say farewell to Ian they should be outside the ground between approximately 10am – 10.10am to pay their respects.
