Harriers win 5-3 on penalties - Jaiden White does well scoring the winning penalty !!

Can't argue with 5 out of 5 penalties converted.

Have we ever won a competitive shoot-out in a competition that matters?

Without wishing to troll Soupy, I am not accepting the Worcestershire Senior Cup as a “competition that matters” for these purposes.

I can recall FA Cup or FA Trophy shoot out defeats to Sutton, Plymouth, Weymouth, York and Alvechurch, but we must have won one before.

We must have….?!?

I have never seen a good game of football at Edgar Street. Bumpy pitch. Horrible stands. I almost pity their fans. Thought we were pretty awful but glad we got the result. Almost made standing in the cold for two hours worthwhile. Almost.

What, apart from not blowing when their centre half had his hand practically in AMS’ mouth at a goal kick, or gave a free kick to them after Jaiden got bodychecked? Or the same ref who on at least 2 occasion didn’t have a clue what to give until they either screamed or stopped playing?

Sorry Josh, you're just being a sore loser. I can't remember the amount of times we've been on the dodgy end of decisions at Edgar Street. They get very soft penalties, Chester went there a few weeks ago and had a goal ruled out for offside despite three Hereford players apparently playing their man onside. So no, I'm not buying it. Everyone has days when little things go against you, such it up and move on. No sympathy at all.

We were the better side in the first half without playing anywhere near the level we can. Sam popped up in some good positions, defended well, Bonds pulling the strings.

Bit disappointed second half. We didn't have much intensity really and didn't test Hall other than Jaiden's effort. Hereford will be pleased with their second half performance I suppose - they like a long throw don't they? They don't look that good and we had several gears to go through.

Gowlings comments are amusing. Bookings definitely justified. Owen-Evans lucky not to be booked. If ref had have given us the correct foul he would avoided the fracas involving Pearce.

Fantastic penalties. Onwards!

Josh Gowling is playing to an audience remember.

His team needs to hear that they were done out of the match with two more coming soon.
