Can we keep the momentum from the FA cup win going against a tough team?

The squad is starting to look a little stretched, but perhaps theirs is as well. Is Chambers still with them, oh and Prossser as well ?

This is without doubt an extremely tough game and having lost to Gateshead and Fylde in the last two league outings a win against Brackley would at least secure three points from a possible nine. A defeat to Brackley whilst a bitter pill to swallow would not be the end of the world BUT if we have play-off ambitions come next May we need to pick up our league form and quickly.

The loss of Moyo, Foulkes, Sterling and Montrose are serious blows to the squad but the return of Freemantle last night re-invigorated our pace up front and offers a serious threat to the defence of any side. Carrington and Martin in mid field and Cameron and Bajrami at the centre of the defence are absolutely key at the moment and if Hemmings can find that little extra spark a win - albeit in a very close game - should not be beyond us and such a result would be a significant boost to the morale within the squad.

Chambers no. Barely featured for them last season and is now at Buxton. Prosser joined them in the summer

Really looking forward to it. Feels like a must win on the back of two defeats against fellow promotion hopefuls, as well as a draw against a team increasingly looking like they'll be battling in the bottom six or so.

Interested to see how Harriers set-up. After the success of 4-4-2 last night and I think Brackley still playing the same.

Contrary to what the team sheet seemed to suggest, it wasn’t a 4-4-2 formation last night. It was the same formation as before - with AMS playing deeper in the Austin role and Sam playing wide (until Carrington went off, when Sam moved into central midfield and Jaiden White came on to play wide)

I still can`t work out if Sterling & Montrose are available.

Interesting to see how we line up, not convinced having AMS just behind the striker. Shame Tolley wasn`t given some time vs Ware, could perhaps have started & Sam could then return to his no 10 role, assuming Sterling is still out.

Difficult game???

Part time outfit who struggle to get over 500 people turn up for home matches. £13 to watch them play and they had to cancel recent matches due to Covid in the camp.

With the attendance reducing stupid surcharge I am coming today to pay £18 and stand to watch a professional outfit play at home against part time opponents. Injuries are part and parcel of football and KHFC have well paid replacements as back up.

When you expect people to pay top amounts to watch the club should deliver or take criticism on the chin for their failure. We have been playing in this poor standard league for too long and it is time now to dominate and get into the NL giving the supporters what they pay for and deserve.

Easy 3 nil win today....

I fear, Mac, that you are setting yourself up for disappointment

If that is the case serious questions have to be asked about the direction this management team is taking the club. Penn has had enough time to set up a team worthy of promotion.

I was very sceptical of the Russ Penn appointment, and thought those that welcomed him were looking on with rose-tinted KHFC specs. I'm pleased to say I was wrong, and I'm impressed with Penn and O'Connor. They're doing a fine job with the resources that they have, and have built an attractive first team.

Having said that, I think the squad is thin, and we're too reliant on the academy or just-out-of-the-academy players - that's not Penn's fault.

Looked like a very soft foul given for their first goal, Bajrami just challenging for the ball.

Annoying second came from a route one punt down field.

But, they're a good side and they've taken their chances. We've huffed and puffed but not finished.

Oh dear. Sounds like someone has no idea at all. Or is out in trolling force. As the song that’s currently playing says, “come on, you’ve got to let me know”
