One more fact about yesterday - that was the first time this season that Harriers have lost three NN games in a row.

Methinks he might be starting to rue answering that call from CG

Academy style football at this level does not work.

Full time players on limited budgets does not work at this level.

Having academy coaches with theorising game plans based on possession for possessions sake does not work at this level.

Not understanding the aforementioned and expecting supporters to attend games regardless does not work at this level.

Colin Gordon once spoke about 'educating' the fans - I rest my case.

What has changed for the good in the last 12 months?? Mcfarlane, Gordon, O'Connor, Yates, Pemberton, Penn and now Shann...and yet some still can't see it.This club is dieing a very slow death if not dead already. I would take folding and starting afresh where everyone was united with the same goal.
Well if some serious profits do not surface in the next year or so then someone will say no more cash and that will be that. I wonder how much RL and his partners are prepared to put in before seeing a financial return - personally I don't think it will be long enough.

Will we see more season ticket holders next season - NO - will the gates improve - NO. Will we see a previous owner leave for good - NO.

And today we tried to enhance the gate by offering admission for £10 - I left hearing some folk who had tried us out for the first time saying £10 was absolute robbery.
I heard the opposite. Opinions hey?
What did you hear Pirate?

More season ticket holders next season?

Bigger gates next season?

Previous owner leaving for good?

£10 admission for our game against Blyth - good value?

Genuinely interested in what you heard - thanks.

The gloom needs to be lifted if possible and if Pirate heard news that could do that it would be helpful if it was shared.

Its an open meeting with the owner we need.
No point having a meeting with the owners employee as they all seem to be living in a garden full of roses.

I see there have not been any post match videos yet. Will we be getting any highlights?

Update: Just found this on Twitter but nothing on Youtube though.

I'm not sure we are gonna get any reaction or highlights. I think it's a result & performance the club is keen to move on from & forget, & doesn't want to further & compound any ill feelings.

Very much agree with some of the thoughts earlier in the thread regarding the style of football. Whether the club, the manager or the players think it's beneath them or not, they're now in a relegation battle, whether they like it or not. They need to start playing "results football". If this mean going to Boston & King's Lynn, camping behind the ball & looking to catch them on the break, so be it. And god sake, stop trying to play Total Football.

For the record I'm happy to see them adopt a short passing style, & a few others teams in the league do it quite well in King's Lynn, Chester, Darlington, Gateshead & Altrincham. But for goodness sake do it with a little more gusto, look to get it through the thirds quicker & stop trying to play like King's Lynn. They don't have the players, they don't have the chemistry & most importantly they don't have Adam Marriott, who continues to set the league ablaze.

Highlights will be out at midnight. As they always are. Thinking otherwise is just a bit...odd...
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)
