I am struggling to remember the last time the club didnt run a coach to a league game.
The only problem of the supporters going with the players.
Departing early and arriving back a lot later after waiting for players to shower and then a de tour to drop the players off.
A long night in store.
Not sure about league games but I remember being only one of four people driven by the then Commercial manager Phil Wright to an away game at Slough in the club Mini bus.

Its a missed opportunity for some good PR. Out of interest, how many supporters will now not be able to make it?

Someone bemoaned the fact the club isn't as inclusive as it used to be "back in the day". Hard to argue against that isn't it?

I am all for some of the excellent work done in the community, schools, charity work, visiting hospitals etc but it sometimes seems the most loyal supporters are taken for granted. 400-500 have simply stopped coming to home games.

This is very poor.

As people have said over the season the coach should make money, so a loss should be ‘absorbed’.

At the very least they should have appealed for additional fans to make the min. threshold, or perhaps asked KHIST to step in and ‘sponsor’ the gap.

Very poor.
As a regular user of the coach I would say that they've struggled to break even this season, the average is in the mid 30s. Personally I'm not going tonight as I'm busy at work with 3 boats need completing before Christmas. Also you have to factor in the time of year and people prioritizing Christmas over football, away matches average out about £50 for me so it's not cheap.

An even better idea would have been to play the game this coming Saturday instead when neither of us have a game.

A couple of phone calls to each other and the FA and it would have all been sorted.

I recall Steve Miller asking Matt Paddock when they were commentsting during the Southport game about moving it to this Saturday and Matt refused to answer the question.
Ideally for us we maybe could have arranged the Gateshead game to the Saturday too as both teams have a free Saturday.
All if,buts and maybes i suppose.

Maybe the staff have had enough like most of us and want a break on a Saturday too?

Predictions League entrants appear to have very little confidence of victory in tonight's game :( . Only 7 see us recording a win, 13 have gone for a draw, with a further 18 opting for a Guiseley win. Chambers is still favourite to bag our first, even though his confidence in front of goal seems very low at the moment. We are in dire need of at least a point from the game, but methinks it will be pretty tough.

All is not doom and gloom - Guisley have lost their last two home matches, one of them was to Kettering and at the moment Harriers form 'away' is better than playing at Aggborough.

Methinks a draw.

I have a suggestion. Through the grapevine I have been informed that there are under 20 booked on the coach. On the players coach there are probably only going to be 25 max. As a gesture of good will let those who have booked go on the players coach like the good old days!!!! Saves money. We are not the only club that would not run a coach if the numbers were that low.
Offers I think your suggestion fell on the stony ground.

Say, 15 fans on team coach @ £13 = around £200 to club funds.

Plus 15 extra fans on the terraces, giving support to the team.

Plus, kindling of the blitz spirit. You know, we're all in this together, chaps. You know, the officials, players, supporters. :?:

There was a pitch inspection 15 minutes ago. Passed as ok.

Lucky we didn't take a coach full of fans up there.

Did Higginson definitely return from loan?
