Poor penalties from us. It's going Rome.

Well done England for giving the country some hope and something to cheer

Well that was amusing while it lasted...... :cool:

Now back to the real world for the average football fan;

where you dont have to explain 'active' and 'inactive' to your other half,
where fans can ressurrect the illogical hatred of the club up the road,
and howl in protest as another unknown dodgy foreign billionaire owner flushes another club down the toilet.

Another great night out at Wembley albeit one where we fell short at the final hurdle.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the tournament and all the games I’ve been to. The atmosphere at Wembley has been immense.

The only downside after such an intense experience is that I now feel like I need a break from football for a while. Hopefully I can get motivated again for August but at the moment I’m happy for football to be put on the back burner for a while.

Maybe a trip out to Stourport tomorrow night might be just the ticket? :D

Currently that feels about as appealing as sitting through the penalty shoot out again!
