I've put all the more interesting old threads in here so they can still be seen following the board overhaul in October 2008. It'll be read only.

Wow. Big signing that.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Tom Owen-Evans is a quality signing (or do we refer to him as TOE, as initials are the order of the day for double-barreled names?). He's the sort of player that you love to hate when he plays for the opposition, at the same time wishing that he played for us . . . and now he will. He's got goals in him, too. He's a player to build a team around.

Even without Sterling (as you've gotta assume he's leaving now) that's a damn good set of attacking midfield options.
Im not so sure, with Carrington and Montrose gone, Owen -Evans is more a replacement for one or both of said duo?

TOE was the stand-out played when we played Hereford. That should prove to be a good signing.

You could be right. But he's more of a ten or inverted winger from the left, rather than a centre midfielder, usually. He did appear to play an eight within a 433 in a few games last year, which could be the plan. Initially I thought he did much of the season, but seems their graphics guy had a bit of a mare, after doing some homework.

Given his style, qualities and what Russ expects from his centre midfielders, I'd personally be surprised if he ends up playing there too much. But who knows.

I hope Palmer gets the Number 1 shirt. I've only seen him play a couple of times for Harriers, but when he did, he didn't let the side down and he now has more experience.

Tom Owen Evans, hated him at Hereford. Did a bad tackle on one of ours a few Christmas's back and the ref gave nothing. Always seems to be playing close to the edge. Don't know how many yellow cards he gets. Would not like to see that side of him in Harriers colours. Maybe Russ has realised you don't get far in this league without, ahem, "physical" players. Personally I would rather stay in this league for ever than start to emulate the likes of those sh*ts at Allfrighten Town. Sorry to sound a negative note. Please tell me I'm wrong. Often am.

On my data, albeit out of date (only up to game 35), TOE had picked up 4 yellow cards for Hereford during the season
