I think I’d rather face York in the play-offs than any of the alternatives. Beaten them twice already and they’re a side who like to play football which always suits us.

How embarrassing for us. To think where they were five years ago and where we are now

At least we didn't get knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round to a non league side. Yes it would be great to swap places with an environmentally inclined team from Nailsworth but it's been a season full of happy memories, hopefully more to come.Phil wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 9:11 pmHow embarrassing for us. Indeed, I wonder where we would be with, on the one hand, an owner pumping in reportedly over £15 million in 10 years, and on the other a annual wage bill 250% larger than yearly turnover (and about to get a lot more in L1).How embarrassing for us. To think where they were five years ago and where we are now

Also the fourth worst average attendance of 2622 in the league. Relegated Scunthorpe are fifth worst at 2716

It's a strange world - he creates a successful business based upon sustainable energy then blows a load of money on something that really does not look sustainable in the longer term.
His money, his choice I guess.

It's okay to watch the success of others without a feeling of embarrassment.
Our season is far from over and we have lots to be happy and proud of.

Bromsgrove are very impatient to get promotion and don't think they should be finishing 4th bottom.
The Buxton manager - did I read on twatter there might have been some skullduggery from the boss in relation to celebrating promotion that perhaps has resulted in him falling on his sword?
