Poached by a bigger club but question remains how well will he do there? Brighter prospects arguably with Gloucester but a snapshot of their fans sees some disappointed he’s gone and some nonplussed and saying it’s the players not the manager who’s got them there, although there may be some sour grapes.

Decent enough job for anyone who wants it, budget wise. Apparently there’s a local manager who’s rated, with some already saying Jake Cole may get it permanently.

I don't care who you are, you're top of the league and your manager leaves for bigger things, it must be incredibly, incredibly deflating. Especially for the likes of Asante, turning down bigger money elsewhere to work with Rowe. In-terms of folks following him, can Chesterfield afford the fees involved in the current climate?
