Telford have been working hard to get the drainage problem sorted. Seems they've cracked it now.

Brackley lose another big name. Either the owner in America is pulling back or a lot of the squad have lost hope. One of the two.

Marcus Bignot has formally left his role with Birmingham City Women and is still stood down from his role with England U19s mens team (who won the European Championships last week) having been found guilty of homophobic language during a WSL game last season.

He’s been issued with a seven-match touchlne ban for misconduct relating to a homophobic comment he made towards Tottenham Hotspur boss Rehanne Skinner.

According to the FA’s written reasons for the decision, Tottenham manager Rehanne Skinner said to Bignot during the match: “{expletive deleted} off Marcus, you’re a prick and you always have been.”

Skinner and the FA believed Bignot replied saying: “Maybe if you had a bit of prick in you and in your life, then maybe you’d be better for it and at your job.”

The FA’s position was that this comment was homophobic as he was aware of Skinner’s sexuality. This was denied by Bignot, who said he was oblivious to her sexuality even though Skinner’s partner was a former Birmingham player.

The commission determined that it was “not credible” that Bignot was unaware of Skinner’s sexuality.

So Skinner has been given the same penalty? I thought not.

No Phil, because one comment was abusive and one comment was homophobic. They weren't the same.
