League news/Former Harriers 1

I've put all the more interesting old threads in here so they can still be seen following the board overhaul in October 2008. It'll be read only.

Didn't fancy the trip to Brackley so watched Gloucester v Telford. Several ex-Harriers:-

Gloucester

Liam Daly - Many of Gloucester's attacks involved long balls from him but Telford were not greatly troubled
Dan Sweeney - Came on for the last 20 minutes but struggled to impress in a team lacking confidence

Telford

James McQuilkin - worked as hard as ever, even if the ball was going over his head for long periods.
Darryl Knights - Brief cameo at the end of the game.
Matthew Barnes-Homer - Unused sub (and didn't even join in the kick around at halftime).

The long overdue sacking of John Sheridan at Chesterfield has happened today. His replacement? Caretaker manager John Pemberton, no less

Liam McAlinden being linked with Ipswich, Swindon and a possible return to Exeter.

He's out of contract at FC Halifax.
Definitely hit some form there, 7 goals in 15 games.

Leamington look to have lost their star man Josh March. Thought to be to Forest Green.

I used to spend the January transfer window worrying that we would lose our ‘star’ player (whoever that was from time to time). At least that’s one less thing to worry about this January

Oh yes please, now there's a natural goalscorer supreme.

Blyth close the gap with a victory against Curzon.

Very, very worrying times.
