I've put all the more interesting old threads in here so they can still be seen following the board overhaul in October 2008. It'll be read only.

Some serious firepower being brought in. Think Harriers are definitely going to need that other quality striker.

Jack Redshaw has joined York City after leaving FC Halifax Town.

The former Salford City and Morecambe forward, who featured in detail on this site last season, joined Pete Wild’s Halifax back in November 2019.

Redshaw was a major part of Salford’s National League North title win in 2017/18, with 17 goals.
Boston United have unveiled their first new signing of the summer following the acquisition of former York City striker Jordan Burrow.

Burrow, 27, scored twice in eight league appearances for the Pilgrims during a loan spell from Chesterfield in 2011 and returns to the club nine years later with extensive National League and National League North experience to his name.

He was the Minstermen’s leading goalscorer in 2019/2020, but, like the Pilgrims, suffered play-off heartache at the hands of Altrincham.

Reflecting on Burrow’s arrival, United boss Craig Elliott said: “I am incredibly excited that Jordan will be joining Boston United.”

Spennymoor Town have signed forward Frank Mulhern.

The 23-year-old joins Jason Ainsley’s National League North side following his recent departure from Stockport County, returning to a division he won with the Hatters in 2018/19.

Mulhern spent the second half of the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Boston United, scoring twice in nine appearances.

He told Spennymoor’s website: “It’s the first time I’ve seen the ground today and I am very impressed with the facilities, and the set-up at the training pitches is first class.

“I know a few of the lads in the squad so I’m really glad to be joining the club at an exciting time.”

Only one decent one there. Mulhern.

Redshaws legs have gone and Burrows been a failure wherever he's been.

Blimey. You're a tough crowd, Phil. :D

Burrow has got around 15 goals the last three seasons & Redshaw is 29.

Good to see us get a mention

That article reads as if he went straight to Chester from Stoke.
