Don't they ask you where the tops are?

Looking forward to the game today, if not the forecast 33 degrees, it's going to be a like a sauna in the East Stand. Have Harriers down for a 3-0 win, hoping we can emulate last season's victory at Aggborough, really excited to see the new faces in the shirt. COYR
PS Forgot to say hoping for a big attendance 2000+ after the Blyth win, even if the opposition fans don't turn up.

Weather obviously has the potential to be a major factor today. Don't envy them trying to play in this.

A cheaply made nylon football shirt is the ideal clothing for today. I might look like a six stone raisin by 5.00

Arrived at home match vs Leamington today with Bro and son. Was unaware of stupid cashless system to get drinks inside ground. Spoke to stewards that I had a medical condition that means I need to keep hydrated. All we got was "Not my fault mate", " Can leave ground but can not come back" and speak to "Director". whilst drinking a free bottle of water handed to him before we spoke. We had to leave before I felt ill before start of game. No good doing what stewards say if I am carted off in ambulance in an emergency.

The whole commercial set up of this club is a complete JOKE and supporters are treated with utter contempt!

Situation outlined by Mac above, if is as it appears, is not good.

Sounds like we did everything but score today - but are sorely missing signing a striker on loan while AMS gets back up to speed. We look in real trouble if he goes out of form when he is back too.
The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)
-------------------Brock-----------
-------Hinton---Smith-----Stamps
-----Melligan--Bennett-Williams---Flynn-Parrish
-----------Henriksen-Broughton------

Yes on another day one of those efforts creeps inside the post and we are all happy on six points. Lots of promising signs but I'm impatient this season. Can we afford not to win games like this? We shall see. Have we drawn at home to a side who will be challenging this year? I doubt it. It's two points dropped if we are serious about winning this league. Credit to Leamington who defended brilliantly at times and had some decent chances just after half time.

We are clearly woefully short up front and I can only assume Russ hasn't been able to sign a striker he thinks is good enough. It cannot be a tactical decision to leave us so short. The injury to AMS has been known about for some time but we've continued to pack the squad with match winning midfielders who didn't win the match today.

Two clean sheets is great and I'm pleased for Tom. NKP worries me slightly. There were some good performances. Brown and Ceesay faded. TOE was good and unlucky not to score. Hemming could have perhaps opted for more power but for this one the keeper deserves massive credit. He was great today.

This is terrible although for me perhaps a little more personal responsibility needed on such a hot day. Had to give up a cold can of pop on the way into the ground. Glad they've got all this sorted but can't be bothered to actually put reserved stickers on STH's seats or sort out the mess that is the outside of the town end.

As I feared in pre-season: We've upgraded the midfield but the attack is arguably not as good, and we don't have the defender to step out and spray the ball around like Bajrami.

Yes, we were a bit unlucky, but really we need to be scoring 1 or 2 of those chances.

Like Sheff (above), my patience is thin this year. Can't bear another 'not quite' season.

Well played Leamington, particularly your on-loan keeper.
Sam
