I enjoyed the final at old Wembley v Wycombe. A competition is a competition. Always a chance for a good day out against some new teams.

Surprised at how cynical some of you are. Getting to Wembley would be a massive thing for us, creating new memories young and old, attracting the prestige in the way a game at the national stadium only can, and putting some extra cash in the bank.
And it'd be a local game for me...

The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

I managed to watch that match from a seat in the Royal box, first and last time I wear a shirt and tie to football.LondonHarrier wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:11 pmI enjoyed the final at old Wembley v Wycombe. A competition is a competition. Always a chance for a good day out against some new teams.

Nice! I think I was about 9, did have a rosette from the game for years, not sure where that ended up though tbh.PIRATE OF ZARAGOZA wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 6:08 pmI managed to watch that match from a seat in the Royal box, first and last time I wear a shirt and tie to football.LondonHarrier wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 11:11 pmI enjoyed the final at old Wembley v Wycombe. I would rather swap any amount of silverware for promotion. No use getting to the playoffs if the team is knackered from too many additional cup games.

Doesn't have to be either one or the other, that's a bit binary. A well managed squad could do both quite easily. However if the squad is thin, then better to prioritise for sure.

I see Telford got the short straw of Stourbridge away...
