Sunderland at home please. Other than that Pompey, Ipswich, Wigan or Sheffield Wednesday would suffice.

As if by magic we will inherit 4,000 additional match day supporters, of this I am sure.

Let’s get something eminently winnable, like a Southend, Scunthorpe etc or just a massive game with a former premier league team which gives us a chance at TV

It's weird, usually I'd want a small winnable tie at home to progress - but I'd quite fancy seeing us at Sheffield Wednesday away or having a big tie at Portman Road.

I think it would be unfair to base away fixtures completely around what would be easy for me! Either a certain knock out by a big club or a winnable home tie.

November 6th. Gloucester away on a Saturday and a nice, close, day out with pubs and docks visit will now be on a Tuesday evening.

Bugger.

As long as they don’t put us on the TV on the Friday or Monday night I’d be happy I think. Nothing worse than a draw that makes you go meh though, so I’m just hoping we get a draw that either makes us go “ooo” or “yep, winnable”

From a purely selfish point of view I’d like to see us host Bradford City.

But it depends on what you want from the cup. Two home ties against “minnows” and we could end up with a plum draw in Rd3.

But a 1st round tie against a big” team at home I think would serve us best, especially in terms of getting tv revenue.

Bolton at home or Sheffield Wednesday away as my boy at Sheffield university so Day on the lash and obviously more gate money. Every little helps

Im not sold on an away day to one of the bigger clubs out of leagues 1 and 2, yes it’s nice to go to a decent ground eg Hillsboro, Fratton Park etc but they won’t be near half full, empty feeling etc which kills it for me.
Saying that I’d do an away day at Cheltenham or Shrewsbury, aside from that I’d take a home draw against a big league 1 club. Sunderland Portsmouth Ipswich Bradford Sheff Weds would do me

Agree with this.
Found Sunderland away an odd experience. Similar with Blackpool.
A home game where we can pull 3000+ (or more if we get a side with a massive away following) would be much better.
