Poor kick from Luke for their second goal. Dropped short and caught our defenders napping.
Bell should have come on for the ineffective AMS long before the last ten minutes.
We did play well in the second half though

Feels like we're nearly a good side, but that we'll have to settle for play-off contention again.

Weird feeling after that game. First half poor, moment of quality really from Haughton to bag. Second half better, without creating clear cut chances, but equaliser deserved and young Joe did well to get the effort on target. Their goal a sucker punch, and left some of us wondering what happened.
OSJ and Montrose limping off is very worrying though, a good job that Carrington is now back from suspension

Many prediction league people picked up points for this match - harriershane still leads, but Arno's dad now moves into second place.

Quite encouraged listening to that. Most difficult game of the season on paper and naturally feared the worst after the early goal.
Sounded the better side for at least half the game without many shots on target. Though without seeing it, not sure how much Fylde were looking to just be solid and how much Harriers were pushing them back.
Picking up injuries in midfield where they're greatly lacking in depth is no good at all. Though sounded like Jaiden gave a good account of himself.
Another point of concern is teams seem to be beginning to pay close attention to and subsequently nullifying Sam Austin.

We played reasonably well but their back line was pretty impenetrable and they were more athletic and agile up front.
We had more possession but they had more clear cut chances.
A nice day out and a good battling fixture in spite of the result

Considering last weeks FA Cup game and yesterday's its obvious the difference between us and the the likes of Fylde is we haven't that little bit of quality up front to convert that one half chance you get in a tight top of the table game. We'll be okay against the bottom third but may be wanting against the likes of Brackley....We'll see next week.

No votes in the MotM yet. I'm surprised.

My word Fylde were out of the blocks quickly taking the lead with some high quality play but we managed to get back into the game as Fylde's tempo eased slightly from the opening peak.
Our equaliser when it came was a tremendous strike from Foulkes and it looked as though a point a piece would be secured until the loss of Montrose with an injury saw us become more vulnerable sadly resulting in the Fylde winner.
Foulkes gets my MOTM - not only for his superb goal but an excellent performance across the 90 minutes.

Undoubtedly a high quality player who will reach great heights Pershore but I do think his game lacks a bit of foresight at the moment and the potential killer pass. Too often he plays a bit too safe.pershoreharrier wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 7:03 pm

As I say, nonetheless still a great asset

That winning goal didn't sit well with me at all. Not only does goal kicks with the split centre backs, full backs high and wide seem a bit advanced for this level in itself, but doing it with five minutes to go against tough opposition away from home with a draw, it just seems totally reckless.
Also Foakes' body position was terrible on the first goal, another defensive mistake for him. He's a baby though and still learning.
