Re: The Aggborough lease
I never expect much from H&W, to be fair. They've got Worcester Warriors, Worcester CCC before they get to us and Hereford.
Very true otherwise. Apparently sports queries are best directed to the editor, the named person on the website is still Flavell as he's since left.

The best team we ever had- since i've been watching the Harriers (2002-)

Re: The Aggborough lease
Having received no response from my email to the club or through the harriers voice platform, I remain a little concerned there has still been no announcement on the short running stadium lease?
Surely if the club intend on staying at Aggborough they would be keen to clarify this.

Colin Gordon supporters seem very keen on his mates who’ve bought the club from him, don’t they?

Based on previous calculations, I make it approx. 20 years to go......We are less then half way through the current lease.

How do you gather that information please Garth? Would it be logged at HM land registry?PIRATE OF ZARAGOZA wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 4:15 am50 year lease that started in 1997.garthrockett wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 11:32 pmBased on previous calculations, I make it approx. 20 years to go......We are less then half way through the current lease.

Re: The Aggborough lease
No, I quickly searched the forum archives to see if anyone had put a figure on the lease itself, and the information was included in a similar discussion thread from 2017.How do you gather that information please Garth? Would it be logged at HM land registry?
Mentioned here but no numbers:
https://www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/your-council/transparency-and-freedom-of-information/freedom-of-information-publication-scheme/lists-and-registers/land-and-property-assets/#asset8
Says here 28 years to go (in 2017), so 23 years now and counting.......

Re: The Aggborough lease
A 50 lease granted in 1997 leaves 26 years to run IF the newspaper has its facts correct.
Although the situation isn’t pressing, it would be a relief all round if the club were to confirm its intention not only to see the lease through but, to start the renewal process.
I really don’t envisage WFDC wanting to lose the club or the cash generated to the town 20+ times a season and would bet they’d be keen to offer an extension.

Re: The Aggborough lease
If Mr Newton could make a statement 4 years in to the 50-year agreement why would it be unreasonable for the current owners to comment now 24 years in?
