If the honourable thing was done and the 80% of the outstanding shares which have been sold are now paid up you could argue there would be no need for a "boost the budget"
The club would then be some £2million better off.
We could be the new Rushden and Diamonds

:wall:
Absolutely - my enquiry was to take on some of that debt which would assist in boosting the budget.

Boost the Budget is an excellent scheme, now being used by quite a few clubs across non league.

Would we, as a group, want to put some small amount towards the cause?

If those interested could pledge an amount we could then total it up to go towards a package. Just an idea.

I'll start by offering £20 and I'll make a list of all that have donated to the start of this thread. How's that sound?

Count me in Phil on your suggestion to pledge an amount. I'll go with a £25 donation.

Great idea, Phil. Though I'll be sitting this one out, I think.

I've donated £150 now between the various causes. Think I've reached my limit.

I agree that it's a great idea. I've already chipped in with a total of £80 and I feel it's as much as I can afford. I opted not to take up any of the offers as I wanted it to be a net sum.
The Boost the Budget scheme needs to be kick-started and your initiative may do the job.

I put a proposal to the Club a while ago offering to put in a three figure sum which is currently with Paul Bickerstaff who kindly telephoned me for further details which I gave to him. I am awaiting his reply so will pause on this initiative Phil for the moment.

Just say how much you want to add to the pot Si and then when I close it I can arrange how to gather it all in and what package we go for.
