Darryl Knights is a promising forward, who was signed by Yeovil Town in July 2007 from Ipswich Town after joining the Championship club straight from school. He was sent out on loan to Cambridge Utd and played against the Harriers in December 2007 - a game the Harriers won.
He arrived at Aggborough for the remainder of the season and really impressed so much that rejoined the club on a two year contract for the next season.
He was released by the club at the end of the 09-10 season because more financial cutbacks meant reducing the wagebill drastically. A sad state of affairs when, arguably, our most creative player has to be released to bring in lower league fodder from the likes of Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Six years later and he was back with us after signing from Solihull Moors.
