Following the defeat at Stalybridge on Tuesday evening the Harriers chances of grabbing the title from AFC Fylde have now reached almost zero.  It will only take one defeat for us in the remaining four games and a win for Fylde to hand them the title leaving us to consolidate our second place position.  By finishing second we'll then have home advantage during the play-off games and in the final itself (if we get through to it of course) so we have to make sure of getting all three points tomorrow against Boston Utd.

Boston are going through a rare decent spell in the past few weeks and that coincides with the appointment of the former Harriers midfielder Adam Murray as their manager.  He joined them in December and his first task was to stop the slump and then to bring in new players.  He's bought in some that he managed during his time at Mansfield with Louis Briscoe, Adam Chapman and Manny Dieseruvwe.  The latter is on loan from us but he will not be able to play tomorrow.

They have a few injuries with five long term.  Midfielder Chapman is coming back and could be available as could striker Jason St Juste but there won't be a showing for Joe Burgess, Karl Hawley, Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Grant Roberts and Gregg Smith.  Smith has been out all season with a fractured ankle.

We have three out injured and it's not known when they'll be back or what is wrong with them.  Elton N'Gwatala and Arthur Gnahoua both missed the last two games while Liam Truslove has missed three and no one has said why.

We'll also have Ashley Carter back available for selection now that his penance is done.

The reason for this early preview is because tomorrows game is being played on a Friday afternoon - and that must be the first time in decades - so don't get turning up on Saturday afternoon.  You'll have missed the fun.
