Date: 06-07-16 gif The fixtures are out and we start against Curzon Ashton
The Harriers will start the 2016-17 campaign away to Curzon Ashton on August 6th and that will confirm our status as a Conference National North side playing teams of that ilk for the next nine months.  We have met up with Curzon before when we mat them at home in the FA Cup in November 2008 and won 2-0 to progress further to that forgettable game at the Ricoh where Coventry City beat us 2-0.

Our first home game is also a first for us as we take on Brackley Town at Aggborough on the following Tuesday (9th).  We have never met before but Brackley are one of the clubs that seem to take a lot of players off us with Tom Sharpe, Ryan Austin and Joe Clarke all having gone there in recent years.

Our festive period games are against ex-tenants Worcester City with Boxing Day seeing us take the short trip to their new home at Bromsgrove.  That'll bring back some memories and again it will hit home the level we're now at.
Other localish games see us take on Tamworth on Tuesday September 3rd (H) with the away game on Tuesday March 21st.  Nuneaton will be on Tuesday August 3rd (A) and Saturday January 28th at home but that day is also an FA Cup day so might get postponed but knowing us very unlikely.  Telford is the other close game with Tuesday September 6th away and at home on Saturday January 21st.

The other close game is against Gloucester City and they visit us on Saturday November 5th (another FA Cup day) and then at Cheltenhams ground on Saturday April 8th.  We end the season on April 29th with a home game against Bradford Park Avenue, whoever they are?

Hopefully that day we'll be celebrating promotion back to the Conference Premier.

The full list of fixtures are available here.
