Jordan joined us in December 2014 from Sutton Coldfield Town where he was an un-registered player following a spell with Barnsley. Before the Tykes he was an apprentice at West Brom after joining them as a schoolboy but never making the grade. In his time with us he was often sent out on loan and never really looked like making the grade here either and following a disastrous game, for him, at Alfreton he wasn't seen for a while.
He buckled down and in the 2015-16 season under Gary Whild he began to improve until eventually under John Eustace he finally staked his claim to starting every game and formed a formidable defensive partnership with Keith Lowe before winning the Players, Player of the Season award at the end of the season just gone.
His loss leaves the Harriers with just sixteen players now and two of those also expected to be gone very soon. We've already lost two players that were expected to re-sign in Darryl Knights and Ashley Carter while Josh Ezewele was a surprising loss after he wasn't offered a new contract. The Harriers management team are going to have their work cut out to bring comparable replacements in and so far there's no sign of anyone.
