Hats comes out tops

Wayne Hatswell As expected Wayne Hatswell topped our recent Player of the Year poll on Harriers Online, and he did it by a massive margin with a total of 50 votes.  This result is expected to be repeated before tomorrows final game of the season against Boston Utd when he will also pick up the same award in the supporters awarded Player of the Year vote carried out by the club.

Wayne joined the club as recently as last October and in that short time has won the hearts of all Harriers fans with his superb displays at the heart of the defence.  Displays that justify Jan Molby's choice of him as the club captain.

Wayne's prize for this superb performance in gaining this esteemed award is a trip to see the world famous Laboratoire Garnier factory in Bromsgrove.

In second place, but miles behind, came the girlies choice, Dean Bennett.  He gained a total of 5 votes and that was just one more than heroic full back Scott Stamps who made a last minute bid for second place with 4 votes.

Total voting was 77 votes, of which Hats gained 83% of the vote.  A marvelous result considering he has only been here a short while.
