This tough, no-nonsense defender signed for the Harriers in February with the intention of shoring up our leaky defence.

Mark started his career with Leeds Utd and made a number of appearances for the then Premiership side. Following the arrival of David O’Leary as the new Leeds manager he found himself quietly dropped and out on loan.

He joined Scunthorpe Utd in March 2000 and went on to become an ever present, and captain, for them until he broke his ankle during the 2003-04 season. At the start of the following season he failed to regain his place and finally joined us in February 2005.

Within weeks of his arrival at Aggborough he took the Captains arm band from Wayne Hatswell and became one of the better team Captains seen at the club in recent years.

Sadly in January 2006 he decided to accompany Iyseden Christie to Rochdale in a deal worth £35,000 to us.
