Kyle Storer signed for the Harriers after a prolonged race to gain his signature along with many other Conference and League 1 sides. We eventually won the battle on July 13th 2011 and he signed for us for a period of two years.

He started his footballing life at Leicester even though he was born on Coventrys’ doorstep in Nuneaton. As with many players he failed to compete in any games at the Walker Stadium and was snapped up by Bedworth Utd, a club just down the road from his hometown.

He came to our attention in 2008 when Mark Yates tried to sign him but instead he chose to join Hinckley. He eventually spent the last two seasons with Nuneaton racking up twenty two goals in a hundred and eleven games.

During his four years and six months with the Harriers he became the club captain and played in over 150 games for us. He left by mutual consent in January 2015 and joined up with Wrexham shortly afterwards but after just six months in North Wales he decided to join up with, then, newly relegated Cheltenham Town.

In January 2023 Kyle joined Nuneaton Borough but within a year the club had gone into liquidation just two days after he was appointed as the new player/manager. Without a club he then signed for AFC Telford Utd.
