Kevin Toner arrived at Aggborough on loan from Aston Villa following the return of Andrew Fox to Peterborough. The young Irish U19 international is said to have a promising future in the game and came to us to better himself and to help us rise from the bottom of the table. He began his footballing career with Home Farm, Dublin: a community initiative that feeds young players to four different clubs in the Dublin area. He left them for Aston Villa in 2012 where he is now the captain of Villa’s Under 21 team but has yet to make a first team appearance. His international duties have seen him turn out five times for the Irish team. He was with us for an initial one month youth loan. | |||
