Greg Pearson

Greg Pearson was bought in on loan from fellow Blue Square Premier side Grimsby Town to help us in our push for promotion towards the end of the 2013-14 season.

The tall striker started his footballing career with a short spell at Premiership side West Ham Utd but, after a couple of loans, soon moved on to Rushden & Diamonds when they were in the Football League.

From there he joined up with Bishops Stortford where he found his goalscoring touch with forty two goals in two years with them and that triggered the attention of bigger clubs including the Harriers.

Mark Yates had tried to sign him while he was in charge at Aggborough but Pearson chose to join Burton Albion instead citing the need to remain part time because of his studies. They got promoted soon after but he remained part time until he graduated.

He joined Grimsby Town at the start of this season but had failed to make any kind of impression at Blundell Park.

Since leaving the Harriers he has played for Nuneaton Town and Brackley Town before ending his career with Hinckley AFC.
