After a protracted chase Stuart Watkiss finally managed to get this Birmingham born striker onto the books at Aggborough. Sheldon started his career at Scunthorpe Utd and then dropped into non-league football with Exeter City before signing for us mid-way through July 2005. After just the one season he was released without ever setting Aggborough alight with his ‘skills’. As one fan famously said “with Sheldon around, no corner flag is safe“. Luckily for him he found a new corner flag to aim at after joining newly promoted Hereford Utd after he left us. He didn’t do too well there either and was released to join, first, Halesowen Town and then Tamworth. | |||
