Bo Bjonholt Henriksen was a family friend of our ex manager Jan Molby. He played for the Danish side, Herfolge.

He arrived here in November 2001 on the same day as Richie Appleby and made his scoring debut next day in the 3-1 win at Leyton Orient. He quickly became a crowd favourite with his long Emmanuel Petit type ponytail.

Bo entered into the Harriers record books at the end of the 2002-03 season when he ended up scoring 20 goals. The first Harriers player to reach double figures in the football league.

Bo was born 7th February 1975 in Roskilde, Denmark and has previously played for another Danish side, OB Odense. At Odense he was in the squad that beat Real Madrid 2-0 in the UEFA Cup only to be beaten by the same score in the next round against Parma.

In his time at Herfolge he helped them to win the Danish Super League title in 2000. They went on to play Rangers in the Champions League preliminary rounds but ended up losing 3-0 in both games.

Following his record breaking season with us he failed to reach expectations the following season and a groin injury combined with a terrible lack of fitness saw him finally leave the club to join Bristol Rovers along with Danny Williams.
