This is the Week this is

After a couple of weeks on trial with us Declan Weeks has put pen to paper on a one year contract today.

The former Wolverhampton Wanderers youngster was with Southport last season but couldn’t save them from relegation. In his time at Haig Avenue he made 29 appearances for them scoring twice.

Born in November 1995, in Wrexham, Declan joined the Wolves from school but never made a first team game up until his departure from Molineux in February 2016. He was then without a club until signing for Southport in September of that year.

The midfielder will be looking to breakthrough into the first team at the expense of Ryan Croasdale or James McQuilkin
